For many of us, going online to buy something, chat with friends or watch a film is part of everyday life. There are so many things we can do online that it’s hard to imagine what it would be like without it.
But for some people, getting online isn’t quite so easy leaving them feeling more and more digitally excluded and isolated, less able to access jobs and education, and at increased risk of financial disadvantage.
Digital Inclusion programme
We asked people who live and work in Rotherham, to tell us how they feel about using technology. Some people said they want to get online but didn’t feel able to. Others told us they can get online but feel they lack the skills and confidence to do the things they’d like to do.
The Digital Inclusion programme aims to help Rotherham residents to enjoy the benefits of getting online. Check out some of the benefits below:

Online banking, apply for and access Council/Government services (including benefits).

Plan your trip, get your Covid Pass, and travel with ease.
